This beautiful small Handcarved Multicolor Mayan Quatzel Bird Mask was crafted by the living decendants of the Maya Indians in a Guatemala Village. Prior to working with
the Mayan Artist Network and the Tribal Mall, the works from this Mayan family had been sold exclusively at craft stands in Guatemala villages.
The small wooden
mask is approximately 6 tall X 4½" wide X 3" deep.
The Mayan bird is hand carved directly into the wood. These brightly painted masks have been used by the
Mayan Indians for centuries for various ceremonies of their village.
