This pot is approximately 12" tall, 11" in diameter and 37" around its widest point. This is an extremely beautiful piece that has a fine stone polished finish.
This clay is dug from secret grounds around the Pueblo. These are made by the traditional coil method and are rolled into ropes then laid on top of one another for form the desired shape. The top is then smoothed with tools to the desired finish; stone polished and fired the traditional way with cedar wood and manure. The well-know artist Rafilita Aguilar created this pot.
